Be Determined to Get Your Spritual House in Order Today in 2011!!!

We've all heard the old adage, "If we plan to fail...we Fail to plan." December 31, 2010, my friends and I wrote, individually, on a piece of paper divided into halves all the things we were DETERMINED to be...do...and allow in 2011. On the other half of the paper, we wrote ALL the things we were DETERMINED to leave behind in 2010. Our DETERMINATION was solidified by a collective spirit, our truths, specificity, friendship and a desire to NOT allow anyone or anything to defeat us. And then we burned both halves. The Universe now knows what we know and will act accordingly on our behalf.
As a woman, an entrepreneur, a sister, daughter, girl-friend, lover and best friend, I am a testament to how life can get in the way if we, as women, aren't specific with our Focus and Determination. I'm going to share two out of my ten determinations for 2011 with the hopes of helping you either jump start or reignite yours...just incase your New Year is starting out a little slower than you were anticipating. Here goes:
I, Fee King, am determined to LOVE earnestly and without expectation and attachments.
. I, Fee King, am determined to train my mind and Body with specificity, determination and a clear end in mind.
See, herein lies the difference in training and working out. Working out is when you show up at the gym with NO game plan. It's when you show up at the gym, park, that aerobics, kickboxing, tai-bo or tai-booty class with no end in mind. When I say, no end in mind, I'm referring to a specific goal of how you want to look, think and feel after 30, 60, 90 and 120 days. After all, why are you there? What are you expecting to accomplish? Or, are you hoping to achieve some magical result just because you showed up and walked on the treadmill? I hate to bust your bubble, but IT... life, doesn't happen that way.
Training is when you're specific, clear, focused and Determined to make a change in yourself. It's when you know why you're there. It's when you know how long you need to be there to accomplish said goal. Training is knowing you are NOT going to reach that accomplished goal solely with the physical aspect of training. Training is doing the work, from the inside out to make the changes you desire. Training is doing your homework. Training is consulting or hiring an expert. Training is knowing every successful person, i.e. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, has or has had a coach and/or mentor to help them excel in their respective sport. Training is saying, I _________ am going to accomplish my goal of ________by this date and working feverishly to do just that. That is the difference in training and working out. You decide where you want to be and the best and most effective way to get there. Ladies...get specific, focused and Determined!
Ladies, I want you to write it down, review it daily and post it in a place where you can see it everyday. I want updates. So, let me know what (2) things you are determined to make happen for yourself in 2011?
